Canisius 73, Buffalo 71
BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) -Frank Turner connected on a jumper in the game's final second to push Canisius to a 73-71 win over Buffalo on Tuesday night, snapping a five-game losing streak in the series.

Canisius (2-1) went on a 7-0 run in the final 2 minutes to seal the come back. Turner hit a pair of free throws and the winning jumper to bookend the run, which also included a 3 from Greg Logins.

Buffalo's Rodney Pierce, who hit a pair of shots from beyond the arc earlier, couldn't get his 3-pointer at the buzzer to fall.

Buffalo (2-2) led by 10 points at halftime, but were outscored 41-29 by the Golden Griffins in the second half.

Julius Coles paced Canisius with 26 points. Turner, who came into the game averaging a team-leading 22 points per game, added 17 points and 10 rebounds. Logins' seven rebounds propelled him past 400 for his career.

Max Boudreau led Buffalo with 15 points.

Wright State 69, Central Michigan 53
DAYTON, Ohio (AP) -Vaughn Duggins scored 21 points and Todd Brown added 20 to lead Wright State past Central Michigan 69-53 on Tuesday night.

The Raiders (3-1) led 14-11 with 11:47 left in the first half before going on an 11-3 run, which began with six unanswered points. Vaughn capped the run on two free throws with 8:43 left in the half for a 25-14 lead.

The Raiders, who scored 24 points off of 20 Central Michigan (2-3) turnovers wouldn't lead by less than seven the rest of the way.

Wright State led 38-26 at halftime and built its lead to 69-51 on two free throws by Duggins with 53 seconds to play.

Duggins made 9 of 10 free throws and Brown was 4-for-6 from 3-point range.

The Chippewas were led Jordan Bitzer with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Kellermann added 12 points and Marko Spica had six turnovers.

Temple 66, Ball State 46
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Ryan Brooks scored 17 points and Lavoy Allen added 16 to lead Temple in a 66-46 win against Ball State on Tuesday night.

Juan Fernandez chipped in 13 points for the Owls (3-1). Brooks and Allen dished out seven assists apiece and Fernandez had five, setting career best for all three players.

Craig Williams added 10 points off the bench for the Owls.

The Owls had an 11-2 run midway through the first half, taking take their first double-digit lead, 25-14, with just over 5 minutes remaining before halftime. They led by 10 points at the break.

Temple broke away for good early in the second half, using a 12-2 run to take a 54-34 lead with just under 9 minutes to play.

Jauwan Sciafe was the only Cardinals player to reach double figures, scoring 10. Jarrod Jones, who entered the game averaging 19 points per game, was held to nine points for Ball State (2-1).

Eastern Michigan 86, Southeast Missouri State 76
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. (AP) -Brandon Bowdry scored 25 points in 21 minutes to lead Eastern Michigan to an 86-76 win over Southeast Missouri on Tuesday night.

Justin Dobbins and Antonio Green scored 15 points apiece for Eastern Michigan (3-2).

Sam Pearson led Southeast Missouri (1-3) with 17 points. Derek Thompson scored 15, and LaMont Russell and Marland Smith each had 10.

Southeast Missouri scored the final six points of the first half and the first 10 of the second half to take a 51-40 lead, its largest of the game.

After a Jajuan Maxwell basket gave Southeast Missouri a 70-67 lead with 7:25 left, the Eagles used a 12-0 run over the next five minutes to take a 79-70 lead. Bowdry scored nine points over that span.
