Junior Shaqwedia Wallace is leading the Owls so far with 18.0 points per game, while senior Jasmine Stone leads the team in rebounds at 7.8 per game. Stone came off the bench for a double-double of 11 points and 13 rebounds in leading TU to the win at Dartmouth.

Through three games, junior Tracy Pontius leads the Falcons in scoring, with 13.7 points per game ... she also has 4.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per contest, and has made a team-leading eight three-point field goals ... senior Tamika Nurse has 12.3 ppg, 3.0 rpg and has hit seven three-pointers to date.... The Oakland University women's basketball team (1-3) looks to get back on the winning track... The two teams are even at 3-3 in the all-time series, with BGSU holding a 3-1 advantage in the Division I era.

Fresh off its first win of the season over a tough George Washington squad, Ohio women's basketball (1-2) returns to the floor to wrap up a three-game homestand... After being arguably the MAC's strongest defense squad last season, Ohio has picked up where it left off through the first three games, holding the opposition to just .365 shooting from the field and 56.3 points per game... Marshall comes into the game with a 1-2 mark after taking down Kent State by a score of 57-50 on Saturday afternoon... Tynikki Crook's 13-point, 7-rebound effort against the Golden Flashes led the Herd in both categories. The junior also registered three blocks, a game high.

Senior guard Audrey McDonald became the 20th member of the Ball State University women's basketball 1,000-point club in the Cardinals 74-69 victory over Northern Arizona Saturday in Worthen Arena... Ball State improved to 1-2 overall, while the Lumberjacks fell to 0-4... For the third straight game, junior forward Emily Maggert led the Cardinals in scoring... She tallied her fifth double-double of her career with 21 points and 14 rebounds... Off to the best start in school history, Valparaiso takes to the road for the first time in 2009-2010... Valpo has three players averiging double digits with Betsy Adams leading the way averaging 18.3 points per game, Lauren Kenney averages 17.3 ppg and Ashley Varner is averaging 11.3 ppg.

The Kent State women's basketball team (2-1) could not break out of a cold shooting slump in the second half and committed a season-high 21 turnovers in a 57-50 setback to Marshall Saturday afternoon at the Cam Henderson Center... FAU's Brittany Bowe continued her hot shooting as the Owls defeated Eastern Kentucky 66-58 from McBrayer Arena on Saturday afternoon...  Bowe led the Owls in scoring for the second game in a row with 18 points on 8-of-17 shooting... The senior point guard also grabbed four rebounds, two steals and dished three assists.

Senior Tanika Mays paced UT's strong effort on the interior with 14 points, while freshman Yolanda Richardson had the best game of her young collegiate career with 13 points, nine caroms and five blocked shots off the bench... UTEP enters Tuesday's home opener on the heels of a 64-40 road loss at Arkansas-Little Rock on Saturday... UTEP features an attack with three players averaging at least 8.7 points per game led by Hughes' 12.7 ppg, 3.7 apg and 1.3 spg.
