Bastel paced the RedHawks for the fourth time in four fall tournaments this year, tying for 25th place at seven-over par 223 at the Herb Wimberly Intercollegiate, shooting 71-81-71=223. Bastel's 71 in the final round helped Miami to its best round of the tournament and the fourth-best third-round score of the tournament.

In the final tournament of the fall season, Bastel helped the RedHawks to an 11^th place finish over the weekend. Miami kicks off the spring season at the UTSA Invitational February 19-20.
