Central Michigan Notes
• With their starts in today's game, both Jordan Blitzer and Robbie Harman have now started in 30 games this season for the Chippewas.

• With his 15 points in today's game, Jordan Blitzer has now scored in double-digits 27 times this season and 60 times in his career.

• With his 20 points in today's game, Robbie Harman has now scored in double-digits 24 times this season and 51 times in his career. It was also the fifth time this season and eighth time in his career Harman has scored 20 or more points.

• With his 14 points in today's game, Amir Rashid has now scored in double-digits three times this season and three times in his career.

• Today's game marks the 136th time CMU and WMU have played each other in basketball. This game, however, was the first time the two schools have played each other in the MAC Tournament.

• With his 5 three-pointers attempted today, Jordan Blitzer has surpassed over 500 attempted three-pointers for his career. He has connected on 196/503 three-pointers in his Chippewa career (38.97%).

• With 2 made three-pointers today, Jordan Blitzer ties current teammate Robbie Harman on the all-time CMU season three-pointers made list. Has now has connected on 72 three-pointers this season. Harman made 72 three-pointers in 2008-09.

• With today's loss, Central Michigan drops to 37-13 under Head Coach Ernie Zeigler when leading at halftime.

Western Michigan Notes
• WMU improves to 18-14 overall with today's comeback victory.

• WMU is led by 2010 MAC Player of the Year and the school's all time leading scorer David Kool, who averaged a MAC high 20.9 ppg, as including 21.9 ppg in conference play. Kool went 0 for 4, and scored just 2 points in the first half. He was held scoreless until 1:32 remaining in the half, and did not record a field goal until 16:27 remaining in the 2nd half. However, he caught fire from there, finishing the game with 26 points.

• With his 26 points, Kool surpassed Manny Newsomes single season scoring record of 654 points, which had stood since the 1963-64 season.

• Sophomore Flenard Whitfield who helped lead the Broncos to their 1st round win against BG with a career high 19 pts. He posted his third double double of the year with 12 pts and 12 reb.

• With the win the Broncos improve to 2-1 on the season against Central Michigan. The two teams split their regular season series, with the home team winning each game.

• McLemore, who is 2nd on the team in scoring with a 11.7 ppg and 5.1 rpg, put in just 3 pts on 1-8 shooting.

• Donald Lawson, who has been a force on the defensive end in his WMU career (4th all-time in blocks) finished with 3 blocks, one short of his season high.

• Mike Douglas, who is 3rd in the MAC in assists with 4.48 pg, dished out 5 assists.

• David Brown who came into the game averaging just 2.2 pg, provided a big spark off the bench pouring in 7 pts in the first half, and tallying 11 pts. and 3 rebounds.

• The Broncos' production on the offensive end increased tremendously in the second half, as they scored 47 points and shot 22% from the field, compared to their 22 point effort on 30% shooting in the first half.

• WMU shot just 16.7% 91-6) in the first half from behind the line, down from their season average of 32%. They finished the game 3 for 12, shooting at a 25% clip.
