Central Michigan (3-5, 0-0 MAC) at South Florida (7-1, 0-0 Big East)
2 p.m. • South Florida leads series 2-0

• Central Michigan looks to get back on the winning track when the Chippewas head to Tampa to take on South Florida. Robbie Harman hit five three-pointers and scored a game-high 18 points but the Central Michigan men's basketball team fell to unbeaten Illinois State, 75-62, at Redbird Arena on Dec. 5. Harman currently ranks third in the MAC in scoring (14.6), seventh in assists (3.75), second in steals (2.25), sixth in three-point field goal percentage (45.8) and first in three-pointers per game (3.38). His three-pointers per contest mark is a full 0.6 higher than the next-highest total. He also is among the MAC leaders in assist/turnover ratio (fourth, 1.67) and minutes played (34.25).

Western Michigan (3-3, 0-0 MAC) at Illinois (7-2, 0-0 Big Ten)
2:30 p.m. • Illinois leads series 2-0

• The Western Michigan men's basketball team (3-3) will try to win back-to-back games for the first time this season when it heads to Assembly Hall in Champaign, Ill., to play Illinois (7-2) at 2:30 p.m. on the Big Ten Network. The Broncos are coming off their first road victory of the season, 69-58, at Eastern Illinois on Wednesday, while Illinois knocked off nationally-ranked Vanderbilt, 79-68, at Assembly Hall on Tuesday. Nobody in Division I scored more points than David Kool's 34 on Wednesday night at Eastern Illinois. Kool is averaging 32.0 ppg in his last two outings. He tops the MAC and is ninth in the country with 23.2 points per game this season. Kool's 34 points are the most by any Mid-American Conference player in a game this season. In fact, Kool has the top three scoring games for a MAC player against Division I competition with 30 vs. Temple and 29 at Detroit... All five starters average in double figures for the Fighting Illini, led by 6-3 junior guard Demetri McCamey with 13.8 points and 5.6 assists and 6-9 junior forward Mike Davis with 12.6 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.

Wright State (6-2, 2-1 Horizon) at Miami (2-7, 0-0 MAC)
3 p.m. • Miami leads series 16-8

• Playing its third game in six days, Miami faces its second-straight local rival when the RedHawks host Wright State at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13. Senior guard Kenny Hayes is averaging 35.1 minutes per game and leads the Mid-American Conference in minutes played. Buffalo's Rodney Pierce ranks second at 34.9 minutes per game. Junior forward Nick Winbush ranks 28th in the category, averaging 28.7 minutes per game this season...The Raiders enter Sunday's game having won three straight with triumphs over Cleveland State (73-64), Youngstown State (67-54) and at Toledo (66-56). Wright State, which touts a 6-2 overall mark and a 2-0 record in Horizon League play, also has defeated Central Michigan (69-53). WSU has not lost a game by more than five points, and the Raiders' two losses are at the hands of Washington (74-69) and Northeastern (70-67). Four Raiders are averaging double figures in scoring, led by Todd Brown's 16.8 ppg.
