Buffalo (3-3, 0-0 MAC) at Niagara (6-3, 0-0 MAAC)
7 p.m. • Niagara leads 55-26
• Buffalo will make the short trip to Niagara to face the Purple Eagles on Wednesday night. Buffalo is coming off a 101-65 loss to fourth-ranked Purdue on Saturday. Rodney Pierce led the Bulls with a season-high 20 points. Pierce is averaging 15.7 points over the last four games, while John Boyer ranks second in the MAC in assists (5.5). The Bulls are looking to avoid being swept by local rivals Niagara and Canisius in the same season since the 2000-01 season...Niagara is coming off a 77-57 win over Loyola (MD) on Saturday. The Purple Eagles are led by Bilal Ben who is averaging 15.6 points and 11 rebounds per game.The Purple Eagles have won the last two meetings, including 65-61 at Alumni Arena last year.

• Ohio dropped its second contest of the season at Tulsa in its most recent outing, suffering an 81-80 loss against the Golden Hurricane on Dec. 8. Prior to the last two losses, the Bobcats had won four straight to start the season. All four victories came at home for the Bobcats, who pushed their non-conference home winning streak to 30 games. Freshman point guard D.J. Cooper has scored in double fi gures in each of his six collegiate contests this season. Cooper scored 10 for the Bobcats in their most recent outing, and is averaging a teamhigh 14.0 points per game this season...The Governors have won four of their past five games, and have split road meetings with Tennessee (L) and Akron (W), They are led by Anthony Campbell's 16.2 points and 5.0 rebounds. Wes Channels also pumps in 13.9 points per game.
Ball State (2-3, 0-0 MAC) at Indiana State (2-6, 0-0 Missouri Valley)

• The Cardinals opened the season with back-to-back victories, but have dropped three straight games, including a 59-38 loss to #20/23 Butler last Wednesday. Ball State is averaging 57.4 points per game while allowing 62.0 points per game. The Cardinals are out-rebounding their opponents by a 33.8-30.6 margin this season. Sophomore forward Jarrod Jones leads the team in scoring at 13.6 points per game. Jones is second on the team on the glass at 6.2 boards per game...The Sycamores have picked up wins over Nebraska-Kearney, Milwaukee, Colorado State, Western Kentucky and Arkansas State. ISU has dropped contests to LSU and Coastal Carolina. The Sycamores are averaging 68.1 points per game while allowing 64.1 points per game. Dwayne Lathan leads the team in scoring at 13.7 points per game, despite only starting one game.

• The Broncos look for their first road win of the season in a return ESPNU BracketBusters game at Eastern Illinois. Senior David Kool leads the MAC with 21.0 points per game. Kool has the two top scoring performances in the MAC against Division I competition with 30 points against Temple and 29 at Detroit. Kool also averages 5.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 steals per game...Eastern Illinois, a member of the Ohio Valley Conference in Charleston, Ill., split a pair of road conference games over the weekend with a triple overtime win at Tennessee State, 83-81, and loss at Austin Peay, 73-60. The Panthers are led by Tyler Laser with 16.1 points, while 6-1 sophomore guard Jeremy Granger adds 9.6 points and 6-7 senior forward Edin Suljic chips in 9.1 points and 4.1 rebounds per game.
