Pair Of MAC Teams To Host Non-Conference Opponents Tonight

Miami will take on Temple, while Toledo hosts Wright State.

7 p.m. • Temple leads series 3-2
• Miami embarks on a rugged six-day, three-game stretch when the RedHawks host Temple at 7 p.m. Tuesday. Junior guard Rodney Haddix II has been picking up his production on the offensive end of the floor. In Miami's first three games, Haddix averaged 4.3 ppg, scoring 5, 5 and 3 points respectively. Over Miami's last four games he has nearly quadrupled his offensive output, averaging 15.0 ppg. He has been in double figures for scoring in Miami's last four games, including a career-high 21 points against Nicholls State...The Owls enter Tuesday's game with a 6-2 overall mark and are coming off wins at Western Michigan (76-70) and against Penn State (45-42). Temple's lone losses are at Georgetown (46-45) and against St. John's (55-48). The Owls have three players scoring in double figures, led by Ryan Brooks at 14.3 ppg.

• Toledo looks to extend its two-game winning streak on Tuesday, Dec. 8 when it hosts Horizon League foe Wright State. The Rockets opened their season-long four-game homestand last week with a pair of victories over Rochester College (65-46) and UMBC (76-67). Freshman G Jake Barnett tallied a season-high 26 points and 12 rebounds in Saturday's triumph over the Retrievers. The victory was the Rockets' second straight after opening the season with six consecutive losses...The Raiders are picked to finish second in the Horizon League this season and feature a balanced attack with four players scoring in double figures. Senior G Todd Brown leads the way with 16.9 ppg and is followed by junior G Vaughn Duggins (13.8), junior G Troy Tabler (11.9) and senior F Cory Cooperwood (10.1).
