FOOTBALL OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE AND SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

East Division
Offensive Player of the Week: Ohio QB Theo Scott
Senior quarterback Theo Scott (Long Beach, Calif.) completed 17-of 21- passing for 324 yards and three touchdowns in Ohio's 35-17 win over Temple to secure the MAC East title and berth in the MAC Championship Game. Scott also carried six times for 69 yards and two more scores. On the day, Scott accounted for five touchdowns and 393 yards of total offense and an 81.0 completion percentage.
Defensive Player of the Week: Bowling Green DB Roger Williams
Senior defensive back Roger Williams (Lake City, Ga.) collected a career-high two interceptions and added four tackles in a 38-24 win over Toledo. With the victory, Bowling Green improved to 7-5 overall, including 6-2 in the MAC, as the Falcons remain bowl eligible.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Buffalo K A.J. Principe
Junior kicker A.J. Principe (Columbus, Ohio) accounted for all of Buffalo's points in a 9-6 win at Kent State, including the game-winning 22-yard field goal with five seconds left in regulation. Principe booted two field goals of 24 yards and the 22- yard game winner in cold and blustery conditions. Principe became the school's all-time leading scorer with 224 points on the game-winning kick and also became the Bulls career leader in field goals with 37.
West Division
Offensive Player of the Week: Central Michigan RB Bryan Schroeder
Sophomore running back Bryan Schroeder (Corydon, Ind.) rushed for a career-high 128 yards on nine carries for two touchdowns and added four receptions for 41 yards and another score in a 45-31 win over Northern Illinois. Schroeder scored on a 13-yard reception on their opening possession, a five-yard run in the final minute of the first half and an 80-yard run on the first play of the second half.
Defensive Player of the Week: Toledo LB Archie Donald
Junior linebacker Archie Donald (Pittsburgh, Pa.) finished the season with 10 tackles and one recovered fumble in the Rockets 38-24 loss at Bowling Green. Donald finished third in the conference with 116 tackles on the season.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Western Michigan P Ben Armer
Sophomore punter Ben Armer (Janesville, Wis.) had five punts (42.4 avg.) with three inside the 20-yard line and a long of 52 yards in the regular season finale vs. Ball State. Armer pinned Ball State at the one-yard line and also at the six-yard line in the 22-17 setback.
