Rhode Island at Kent State, 1:00 p.m. Kent State women's basketball (3-1) begins a five-game home stand Sunday, Nov. 29 with a 1 p.m. tip-off against Rhode Island at the M.A.C. Center... Kent State had four players in double figures and two more with nine as the Flashes shot 56 percent on the way to an 84-66 win over Florida Atlantic Tuesday evening at the FAU Arena... Jena Stutzman and Jamilah Humes led the Kent State attack with 17 points while Rachel Bennett added 13 points... Taisja Jones scored 11 points for her first double-figure scoring game for KSU while Yoshica Spears and Chenel Harris added nine points apiece... The Rams (2-3) picked up their second straight win on Friday with a 51-47 victory over NJIT. Three Rams - Megan Shoniker (13), Lara Gaspar (11) and Ashley Rivera (11) scored in double figures while Shoniker also dished out a game-high five assists and added seven rebounds... Lindsay Harris, meanwhile, matched her career-best rebounding performance for the second time this season with a game-high 12 boards... She also contributed eight points, three steals and three assists in the victory... As a team, the Rams held a 44-31 advantage on the boards. Central Michigan at Indiana State, 2:00 p.m. Missouri State at Eastern Michigan, 2:00 p.m. Ball State at North Dakota, 2:00 p.m. The Ball State University women's basketball team lost on the road to North Dakota State by a score of 65-57 Friday evening in the Bison Sports Arena... Sophomore guard Patrice King led the Cardinals with 15 points. In her 100th career start senior Audrey McDonald and teammate Danielle Gratton both had started off the season with a 1-4 overall record. The Fighting Sioux dropped three straight to Green 13 points apiece... North Dakota has Bay (56-74), Wisconsin (43-68), Wyoming (59-85) before earning their first victory over New Mexico State Monday, 57-50... North Dakota lost 85-46 to Gonzaga Wednesday evening. The Fighting Sioux are currently 0-2 at home this season. |
