• The RedHawks will play their first five games away from Millett Hall. Miami continues its road stretch at No. 4/5 Kentucky at 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 16. The RedHawks are coming off an 82-71 loss at Towson, while the Wildcats posted a 75-59 win against Morehead State in their season opener on Friday. In its season opener on Friday, Miami had its best effort in the first half. The RedHawks shot a sizzling 55.2 percent from the field in the first half, scoring 42 points in the opening stanza but mustered just 29 points in the second half while shooting 39.1 percent from the field. Kenny Hayes tallied 17 points and six assists, while senior center Adam Fletcher had 11 points and a game-high seven rebounds....Kentucky is coming off a 75-59 win over Morehead State in its season opener on Friday. Eric Bledsoe led all scorers with 24 points, while preseason All-American Patrick Patterson tallied 20 points and a game-most 12 rebounds. Darnell Dodson chipped in 15 points in the winning effort. The Wildcats sunk 50 percent of their field goals and outrebounded Morehead State by a 43-24 margin. Although the Wildcats pulled out the 16-point win they were without the services of highly-touted freshman John Wall, who will be available to play in the matchup with the RedHawks on Monday.

• The Chippewas fell, 71-68, to Princeton at Rose Center on Saturday, but the duo of Robbie Harman (22 points) and Jordan Bitzer (19) nearly pulled it out. The senior combo scored CMU's final 17 points in the fi nal seven minutes of regulation, but they ran out of magic in the final seconds, as Harman's potential game-tying three kicked off the rim with four seconds left. CMU was 4-13 a year ago when it was outrebounded by its opponent. The Chippewas were edged by Princeton on the glass, 29-28, in the season opening loss...The Bulldogs suffered a narrow 65-60 loss in a hard-fought season opener at regional foe Lewis (Ill.) on Sunday (Nov. 15) evening at Neil Carey Arena in Romeoville, Ill. Austin Randel paced the Bulldogs with 19 points and Justin Keenan chipped in 15 as two Bulldog players reached double-figure scoring.
