Temple withstands Miami's fourth quarter surge, defeat RedHawks 34-32 on last second field goal. Northern Illinois rolls over Eastern Michigan.

Miami 32 at Temple 34
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -Bernard Pierce ran for 172 yards and three touchdowns, and Brandon McManus kicked an 18-yard field goal with 3 seconds left to give Temple a 34-32 victory over Miami of Ohio on Thursday night.
The Owls (7-2, 5-0 Mid-American Conference) won their seventh straight game and are on their longest winning streak since they won the final eight games of the 1973 season.
Temple blew leads of 21-3 and 31-13 against the RedHawks (1-9, 1-5). McManus bailed out the Owls with their biggest kick of the season.
Coach Al Golden's Owls were already bowl eligible and they now have the MAC title game in sight. To put the winning streak in perspective, the Owls won seven games total from 2002-05.
Eastern Michigan 6 at Northern Illinois 50
DEKALB, Ill. (AP) -Tommy Davis returned the opening kickoff 86 yards for a touchdown, and Chad Spann ran for a career-high 174 yards and two scores to help Northern Illinois rout winless Eastern Michigan 50-6 on Thursday night.
The Huskies (6-3, 4-1 Mid-American) won their third straight games, scoring on five straight possessions to take a 37-6 halftime lead.
Spann had scoring runs of 65 and 79 yards in the first half, and DeMarcus Grady threw 30- and 31-yard touchdown passes to Landon Cox. Grady passed for 119 yards, ran for 104 and had a 5-yard scoring run in the third quarter.
Eastern Michigan (0-9, 0-5) twice drove inside the Northern Illinois 5 in the first quarter, but reached Huskies territory just once the rest of the way. Dwayne Priest ran for 75 yards for the Eagles.
