Brooke Edwards scored the game-winning goal as Ohio Field Hockey won its sixth Mid-American Conference Tournament Championship, and fourth since 2006, with a 2-1 overtime victory over the reigning title holders, Kent State this afternoon at Pruitt Field.

With the victory, Ohio also matched the 2007 team in wins with 18. The 1982 Ohio Field Hockey team holds the school record with 20 wins during a single season. The MAC record is 19 wins (Ball State - 1994, 1997; Kent State - 2000).
