Hiller To Receive Wuerffel Trophy

KALAMAZOO, Mich. - Tim Hiller has been working non-stop in preparation for the 2010 NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis, which begins at the end of February.  Before he puts his skills on display for the entire National Football League to see, he has one more piece of hardware to pick up - the 2009 Danny Wuerffel Trophy.  He and his family will be on hand in Fort Walton Beach, Fla., for the ceremony.

The Wuerffel Trophy, widely known as the Humanitarian Heisman is awarded annually to the one football student athlete that shows excellence athletically, academically and in terms of giving back to the community.

  • 7:30 AM- Fellowship of Christian Athletes Breakfast at the Emerald Coast Conference Center.
  • 9:30 AM- Breakfast at Aunt Marthaʼs immediately following the FCA Breakfast.
  • 2:30-3:00 PM- Wuerffel Trophy Photo Session at the Emerald Coast Conference Center.
  • 4:00-5:00 PM- Press Party at Anglerʼs Beachside Grill (across the street from the Emerald Coast Conference Center.
  • 6:30 PM- All Sports Association Awards Banquet 2010 Itinerary for Wuerffel Trophy Winners, Families, and VIP Guests
